All of our soaps are handmade in very small batches with the finest ingredients, including olive, coconut, palm, sweet almond, apricot kermel, castor, sunflower seed, avocado, jojoba, meadowfoam seed, rice bran, and palm kernel oils and cocoa, shea, aloe, and mango butters. We also add silk amino acids to every batch for a luxuriously silky lather.

all our soaps

Unlike commercial soap, they contain no detergents and retain all the natural, moisturizing glycerin that is formed in the soapmaking process. If you've never tried handmade soap, you should be very pleasantly surprised at how wonderful it will make your skin feel. After all, our skin is our largest organ. It encapsulates our very being. Doesn't it deserve the very best?

This is not your Grandma's lye soap. She had to use water poured through wood ashes for lye for which she had no idea of the strength and mostly used cooking grease, such as bacon fat, chicken fat, etc., much of which had turned rancid over the months of sitting, waiting for the soap pot. It was a guessing game. It might take your skin off or it might sit on your skin, all greasy, and not clean at all. There were no fragrances and the soap often smelled rancid or like animal fat.

But times have changed, in this case for the better. We have very accurate scales for measuring, calculators to accurately determine the percentage of superfatting for amount of moisturization, and the most luscious, skin-loving, oils and butters imaginable. We also have the most beautiful cosmetic grade colorants and an array of fabulous fragrances that is beyond belief.

soapmaking has truly become an art.

Our soaps are cured for 4 to 6 weeks before they are available for your pleasure, so at times, quantities of certain bars may be limited. Each bar weighs 4.5 to 5 oz and costs $4.95. Quantity discounts are available and wholesale inquiries are welcome. The bars may have slight imperfections, which only adds to their charm!

Please keep your soap in a well-drained soap dish away from standing water to extend the life of the bars. May we suggest one of our handcrafted wooden soap dishes?
